Job Point congratulates Columbia’s 2015 Local Celebrity Apprentice, Amanda Stone, of Jacobs Property Management.  Matt “The Boss” McCormick, President of Columbia Area Chamber of Commerce, selected Ms. Stone at Job Point’s 6th annual event held at Deja Vu.  Twelve local business people competed in four teams to raise awareness and money for Job Point in a street challenge at 9th and Broadway on Wednesday, October 21st, and in a talent competition on October 29th. The winning GREEN team included Ms. Stone; and Christopher Rigby with Stephens College; plus Cara Christianson from The Club at Old Hawthorne and sponsored by Frank & Liz Aten.    For the Street Challenge, the green team dressed as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and offered chances to pop a balloon for a prize.  For the Talent Challenge, they brought down the house with their dance to Silento’s “Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)”.  The four Green team members were each posed a final question by Mr. McCormick to determine the winner.  Read more.
