JOB POINT HOLDS ANNUAL AWARDS BANQUET

Job Point proudly announced its 2009 Award Recipients during its Annual Banquet at the Donald W. Reynolds Alumni Center on February 25th.

From nearly 2,000 persons served, two individuals were honored with an Award of Excellence for exemplary vocational and personal achievement. Ms. Missy Dunegan (Jefferson City) is a Clerk I at Wolfner Memorial Library with the Missouri Secretary of State Office. Ms. Rhonda Matthews (Columbia) was employed as a Legal Assistant with Mid-Missouri Bankruptcy Center for 1-½ years. She recently accepted a new position at the Re-Entry Opportunity Center in Columbia. Job Point salutes these phenomenal women for their determination in overcoming significant barriers to employment! Tania Cook, Skills Training Coordinator, was honored as the Employee of the Year for her outstanding contribution in promoting Job Point’s mission. CiCi’s Pizza was selected as the Employer of the Year for promoting the abilities of individuals seeking employment and greater participation in community life. Services for Independent Living was honored as Partner of the Year for their outstanding support.
