Comprehensive Rehabilitation Services Accredited programs and services include:
Specialized services exist for persons who are deaf, hard of hearing, blind, have low vision, have a serious and persistant mental illnes or a brain trauma. Job Point serves persons with disabilities which include the following categories:Orthopedic: back/shoulder/knee impairment, carpal tunnel/arm/wrist, quadriplegia, paraplegia, amputation, fibromyalgia. Congenital Orthopedic: cerebral palsy, spina bifida, and growth impairment.< Serious and Persistent Mental Illness: psychotic (schizophrenia); neurotic (depression, bi-polar disorder, personality disorders). Substance Abuse: alcohol, controlled substance. Cognitive: mental retardation/developmental disability, borderline intellectual functioning, and learning disability. Brain Trauma: closed head injury, chemical/substance related head injury, and seizure related head injury. Sensory: deaf, hard of hearing, blind, low vision. Neuromuscular Conditions: multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy. Other: including, but not limited to diabetes, hypertension/high blood pressure, gastro-intestinal disorder, seizure disorder, asthma, and allergies.Entrance Criteria:
Job Point services may be initiated on any Monday an opening exists and are completed as the needs of the individual are met. |
